Job Title: Fire Sprinkler Inspector

Location: Greater Spokane Area
Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Salary: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour, depending on experience

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Inspector to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and perform routine maintenance on commercial and residential water-based fire sprinkler systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of local, state, and federal fire and electrical building codes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, inspect, and maintain water-based fire sprinkler systems in compliance with NFPA 25 and other relevant standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair fire sprinkler systems.
  • Maintain knowledge of pertinent fire and electrical building codes.
  • Manage inventory of parts, supplies, and materials, and requisition replacements as needed.
  • Record and document all inspections, tests, and work performed.
  • Use company software to complete work orders, daily time sheets, and scheduled work orders.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours and weekend emergency calls.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in installing and/or inspecting fire protection systems.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • NICET II certification in Inspections and Testing of Water-Based Systems Layout is preferred.
  • Valid state driver’s license with no restrictions or recent speeding tickets.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for water-based fire protection systems.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers and customers.
